We offer New York alcohol awareness server training online. Our alcohol server course is designed to teach you how to serve alcoholic beverages safely and legally in the state of New York.

Our online course focuses on the skills and techniques used to recognize the signs of intoxication and how to intervene to keep your patrons and establishment safe. The training also covers underage drinking, ID checking, and much more.

This course is on-premise server training for anyone who works in a bar or restaurant.

New York Alcohol Server Training - Course Features

Our online training course is a 2 hour interactive course with full audio narration and engaging real-world scenarios for the best user experience and information retention. Our training course works on all computer devices including: smart phones, tablets, laptops, and PCs. If needed, you can conveniently switch back and forth between your phone (or tablet) and your computer, while taking the course, and you will always be returned to your most recent progress. Once you create an account you can log in from any computer or mobile device and train anytime, anywhere.

You have 6 months from enrollment to complete this course. You can log in and out of your training account and your place in the course will be saved.

After successfully completing this server course and the final exam, you will be able to print your official New York ATAP certificate of completion from your own printer.

New York Alcohol Server Training - Course Outline

Our server training online course consists of five units of instruction, New York state specific laws and a final exam. Below is a detailed course outline of topics covered in the course.

Certificate of Completion

Upon successfully completing our New York alcohol awareness server course and final exam, you will be able to immediately print your certificate of completion. It will also be emailed to you.

Your certification is valid for 3 years from the date of course completion

If you lose your certificate and need a replacement, you can log back into your account and print additional copies.

NY Liquor Authority Approved School

Training Now provides the SureSell New York ATAP approved server course. This alcohol server certification course has been reviewed and approved by New York Liquor Authority. We have been training servers in NY since February 2012.

New York Server Requirements & Reporting

Alcohol Awareness Server Training is voluntary in New York, however your employer may require server training. Although training is not mandatory, school and training materials must be approved by the state.

Once you are New York Server certified, we are required to submit your training record to the New York Liquor Authority, Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control.

Your certification will be uploaded within 7 days of course completion.
